Yeah, just simple python addon that takes the tmx xml and uses its tilemap to build a map from pre-built blender objects.

such beautiful z fighting.. boy is it a pain to get blender to save linear data images. not to mention the puzzle of 'which image format and how it represents its data'.. bleh..

oooooohhh... i'm a bit slow..
cliffs are a feature at the moment, but Anarchid said that units work better. so ive still got to figure out how to make them units and export s dae instead of obj. because it seems cleaner.
I would like to have a shader that mimicks the terrain shader so that they match up, but i wouldnt even know where to begin honestly.. and there are still too many other things to figure out.
I've got blender scripts to reduce the pain a little and they need more work.
Ive got 8+ cycles materials to produce in blender that will look good baked into meshes, and lots and lots of tiles to build.
lua scripts for placement of terrain, against correct tiles etc.
then there will be post production scripts and tutorials on how to use the tileset. etc etc.. and of course the things I want to get included engine side if I can.

It would be conceivable to make TibSun style teleport tunnels with MoveCtrl, but do you want that?
