You've already agreed and advocated a 100% manual process, a little more won't hurt
Eitherway I'm not going to be happy if I start seeing "[map] K itchen" on the frontpage news box

let's see. even if that happens all moderators can now easily remove it, that wasn't possible with springinfo news. also updates are now instantly, no delay any more and people can directly give feedback to news/blog entries.

If the plan is that people should ask for posting rights then add a sticky note that explains how/who.
(But still thnik "that anyone can post" is easier and better)

And should there be "test period" where people are encouraged to post anything to test?
Think that is also good to lower psychological barrier hm..

It was, just nobody requested accounts be created, so none were ever made. It's not like I was relunctant to hand them out
