It'd be intresting to see how browser usage data is collected. Many applications pretend to be certain browsers, some browsers preload links etc. distorting the results.
Any particular reason why polls are disabled for off topic?

Browser usage statistics arent representative of how good a browser is, else we would see that the latest firefox is currently battling it out with the horrendous IE6.

They were being obstensively abused.

Interestingly in some countries browser use differs from the rest, according to StatCounter.
Sweden prefers micro$oft, like
UK,
USA,
France and
most countries.
Finland is browsing with firefox, like
Germany.
Russia is using opera.

wot is minefield?
I currently use Firefox 3.6 beta 5, I'm getting a little tired of it, some parts of the interface look like something from Windows 98. I'll probably switch to Chrome once I feel a little more confident about its plugin/addon system.

The only reason I don't use Opera is, it sounds like something a Mac person would use and I just can't have that on my conscience.

or firefox, firefox is on all the macs in the apple store, google chrome only came out on mac last week...

They are, they're plugins or 'addons' that implement active x controls.
Just because microsoft chose to use active x as their implementation for plugins, doesnt mean they arent plugins
