i knew this blue-face-plague in braveheart would spread like hell, but i never guessed it would transform those poor scotts that hard over the time.
Guess it is Lupus or at least related.

I'm not sure I get the hype. I'm not that into movies right now 'cause there aren't many good ones coming out, but I've heard so much about this one, yet there doesn't seem to be anything new in the plot.
That said, I'm lurking on TL and waiting for a release atm. I'm really hoping it'll be good. Star Trek is the only movie I've liked so far this year even though I was an elitist about it before I saw it, as I lovelovelove the original series... Oh god I'm starting to ramble... SUBMIT

law abiding citizen, inglorious bastards and that japanese one called red cliff or something all look pretty decent and since your a girl you might like the new twilight movie. That star trek movie was also on my list of movies to see, because I love the star trek series too.

Oh god
Don't underestimate my taste... I heard New Moon provides lolz though, so maybe I'll watch it on a rainy day (and probably get bored to death after 15 mins).
Thanks for the other suggestions though, I'll check them out, I need stuff to watch especially now that lots of decent series are on break... And Dollhouse ended just when it got pretty amazing, DAMN YOU FOX!!

I'm pretty sure new moon is supposed to be funny... the book was.

Well, the acting alone makes it unintentionally funny,
unintentionally being the keyword. I've only seen gifs and clips and they alone make me so fucking uncomfortable. I mean, seriously...
I don't know if I should laugh or cry...
I hope this gif spam isn't against the rules.

I love gif-spam...
Also, the books are so painfully melodramatic the over-acting was completely appropriate to the characters.

Ok I just watched the first Twilight movie (being a bit drunk is my excuse... it's FRIDAY don't judge), inspired by this thread, and it was pretty funny (still
unintentionally), but...
SINCE WHEN DO VAMPIRES FUCKING SPARKLE IN THE SUNLIGHT!? THEY'RE SUPPOSED TO BURN AND DIE.
Now THAT^ is truly awesome and how vampire-themed series/movies SHOULD be like. A combination of Buffy + Star Trek equals LAAAAAAHV. <3

I haven't paid for a movie in over 2 years but I decided to go see this one in 3d and it was actually worth the money

Awesome movie and visually stunning. Some stuff was a bit clich├® ofc, but if you want to use money on a movie, I'd definitely recommend this one. I'm pretty sure you won't be disappointed, especially if you watch the 3d version.
edit: woops some typos etc.

A girl commented after the movie that she would have liked the film to include more furry porn. This movie may be the breakthrough the furry community has been waiting for all these years...
oh yeah, film was fine, stunning-ass visuals, plot ok i guess, reminded me of many games and japo animated movies. Could have used less Sigourney Weaver tho, she still has the acting talent of a brick.
I can imagine the sequel : "Avatar 2 - this time with nukes (full length 5 minutes)"

I liked the ending, when the pissed off humans kinetic&nuclear bombarded pandorra from orbit, exterminating the braveheart aliens (they were scotts, a lost clan, dont ask how, they were)
So like all Furrys this ended in fire-
ops spoiler alert. Sorry.

Seen it today, awesome movie, good story (yes I liked it), stunning experience in 3D.
160 minutes was not enough tbh.

It did feel at moments like things were a bit abrupt...
The female pilot,for example.
I didn't understand why she was so motivated to go against the flow and against her commander as oppose to the other soldiers....
There were some other plot holes that felt kinda weird in the context of the storyline.
I definitely think it could have easy been broken into 2,3 hour films :).
Watching it was very pleasing and i wouldn't mind exploring Pandora further.
in fact in some scenes it almost feels like your watching some awesome National Geographic film.
The only semi-serious gripe I have with this movie is the political statement.
I mean is it a fairytale/sci fi mixture or is it a Michael Moore film?
the same thing happened in Wall-e and i was annoyed by it as well.
Enough with the preaching IMO.
Cant we just enjoy a film peacefully?
