Apophis contains a gadget overriding CA's windmill control.
--Sorry CA, this map has NO wind ever
--Please dont start a lua war over this, and do NOT use this as casus belli to allow mod override of map lua.
--By using wind on this map (even solar wind or interstellar wind) you are in violation of the license of this map.

The exact license is not mentioned anywhere.

This was on spring road map even before you made those maps.

Lol, thats silly. Map is map, you cannot tell mod how to play it. Its as stupid as Sena's maps that override mod.

We will soon need "special" mods that override maps! For example you could host DSD and it will be speedmetal instead!

Eventually, all games will be called BA special DSD special and this will increase diversity of both maps and mods!

Your analogy is flawed, me doing this is a direct result of mods trying to override maps. Map is map, you cannot have a mod trying to tell a map how to play it.

If a mod doesnt play well/like you want it on a map, then choose a different map. There are 1000 other very fine spring maps out there just begging to be played.

GPL map is GPL (and code must be GPL), therefore you do not get the right to assign what can and cannot change on it.

Map is the canvas, mod is the paint.

Edit: And moreover, a gadget specifically to override a mod's wind controls is nothing short of childish.
