My wife's the one who takes the good shots, that's why I'm the one appearing in them. She's a teacher, though, and as such refuses to allow images of herself to appear online for fear of what her students might do with them.

Ah, I suppose that could happen, but I still know of plenty of teachers who post pictures and all online anyway. They figure that technology is being used so much today, even in classrooms, that they might as well learn how to use it.
Usually they make nice little teaching web pages to do that on or post on teaching forums. I haven't really heard of any horror stories about teachers and pictures on the internet yet even though I'm sure they're out there.
I guess that whatever she thinks is best is fine.
