there are 8 not a kabillion
2 for air
2 for land
2 for sea
...
a kazillion...
and CORE got the Krog coz it sucked so in early game. in xta/aa it doesn't.

I think that super units arent all that good at the moment.
Super units in Supcom look better because of the extreme, it isnt just about havign a hugely powerful unit, it may not be hugely powerful at all, just with above average HP, it's the size and the usage that marks them out. A giant mech with xx hp and xx firepower isnt all that special compared to a walking spider, or a slowmoving monster that uses a wierd super weapon, there's no unique tactical aspects of a huge mech anymore, new types of superunti are needed.
