well yeah im assuming more powerful countries are buying the latest revision. But AK47's are probably most likely being ciriculated and traded to 3rd world nations.

I think that's mostly because it's easy to get a license for it. The thing isn't terribly reliable when you buy it from some crappy third world arms factory.
