Tribulex, your advice is useless.
Edit: Sorry to be so harsh.. But if you are saying something, you need to think about and say(one of) the when, the why, the how, and the side effects.

if you can launch a nuke in the first five minutes you win
This is almost viable. The silo can be completed in 5 minutes but it takes 3 minutes to stock the nuke.

If you don't get attacked for 8 minutes then you deserve to win...

You can still get attacked if you spread the load over an entire team. It takes 18 minutes to make a nuke with 1 constructor. If you have a team of 5 and everyone contributes a constructor it takes 3 minutes and 36 seconds. This from only spending +6 from each front which will probably be less than a third of their income. Comms are good enough that this decrease in income won't effect the early game significantly. You should be able to hit someone with a nuke by minute 10
It's probably been nerf though.

Then your front-line starts getting pwned by arti you cant kill and the enemy is using radar, make some AA machineguns: These take forever to die through artillery fire and are bound to buy you a lot of time... other pop-up units work too.

You cant launch a nuke in 5 minutes in BA you have all that tech to go through, what were you doing, 10k starts? Speedmetal?
Even if you scrap your com you have to make huge energy investments.

Indeed, then you make a nuke you must add in the cost of a fusion reactor, because thats what you are going to need to fuel it :) (In BA, CA has all new energy proportions and the fusion itself was changed so im not sure about what kind of stuff you need)

Shared metal, reclaiming coms that we killed, reclaiming dead units, conquering 2/3 of the map, and then nuking for lulz.

I'm still not convinced that this could be done in 5 minutes. 10 maybe but even then it would seem like it's really pushing it...

you mean winning the game and prolonging it to end with a nuke even though you can end it with pretty much any other unit..

I was thinking that too :)

Might seem obvious, but choose your preffered ground army and carve out a slice of territory. Once the battle line has stabilized get an aircraft plant with two Airpads and produce precision bombers, about 24 of them and split into 4 groups of 6. Scout enemy base and select the targets you want gone. Consider Area attacks agaisnt windfarms. Most people are still stuck in the idea of pure ground war and won't make any serious AA until they get hit by it. Hitting the commander is a very good option, only need 5 bombs to kill him. Of couse, roll your ground army in simultaneously with the air strikes. Your opponent won't be able to manage both thier front line and fix thier econ at the same time.

When you're fighting someone, and producing ground units, they usually don't expect any air units until its too late. its especially nice to sacrifice a few ground scouts to find his commander without alerting him to your secret awesome bomb squad.

If you're pouring metal and energy into producing *24* precision bombers, I'll be through your defenses and in your base before your army is ready.
