ctrl+alt+F8 is the server spring is usually on for me.

Hi,

Have followed your instructions on Kubuntu 8.04, but when i get into the spring app, my mouse speed is much slower than when i played it the normal way. Any thoughts?

Maybe something crashed? Check your system logs.
