Yeah worked for me but ....neh on a 8x8 map it already slows everything down immensly.
We dont really need dynamic water since it looks like pool water and has no sea waves.
We need a simpler effect that will make the water surface look lke a sea water surface with waves.
Also a wave effect on the shores would be nice...
I saw one in Generals and Generals isnt a heavy game in todays standrads.
So it is possible to make a wave effect without killing the cpu ..

Nobody is forcing you to run it.

So um, how does this work in very simple Crayfish-friendly terms? Where do I download it from and what do I do with it?

May I ask what mod this is from? I've never seen the units in the background before.

Read my post again. I don't know how I could have been more clear.

That's "fog" IIRC.

Same here and, in addition, I get a buggy rectangle area without fog when I use specific cam distance & angle.

I'll post a screenshot from home.

Some damn dense fog... I'm not in front of my spring machine (at work), any way to turn that off? I should also not when i was choosing start pos there was a crazy green hue over the entire map.

That bug was present in refractive water in 6 series cards as well. I think it is a reflection of the sky.

Hmmm, well it only happens with funky shader vp file happening in the folder structure.

Well I triggered it a bit differently then, by going to a particular corner of a map like center rock, and then the water would all turn light blue like that.

Read my post again. I don't know how I could have been more clear.
I've read the whole thread repeatedly and it's still not clear - my current understanding is that I need two modified files (springcontent.sdz and dwgroundrefract.vp) and while you provide a link to the latter, no link appears to be present to the former file.

I'm probably wrong in some way, but an explanation would fix that! :)

Ignore the entire thread except my post explaining how to use the fix in the current version and just follow those instructions.

Oh okay thanks, that did it - looks cool but fourfold fps drop. Ah well.

Does not happen when there is a skybox included in the map.
