oh, of course, that's what preloading is for >_>

...and besides, after a certain size maps are just outragous (Epic Earth, or whatever the title of Beatty's earth map was...is a good example of crazy size without any real point)

I'm about to test out your new map Buggi...with TinySpring.

Should be interesting <_<

But with minispring, the mapsize is upped without any cost to CPU.

The only added CPU load, for a doubled map size for every single map with minispring is that you can now fit twice as many units on screen at once; which I don't think is such an issue, given that properly zoomed you could fit a quarter of the map in your screen anyway...
