If you use a TA-like zoom, half a screen would be about... 400-500 elmos?

I'd say my usual display area is at least the space shown in 4 (2x2) OTA screens.

At what resolution of TA? 640x480? So half a screen is about 500-600 elmos for you then.

IIRC, one elmo is about 5.34 quizziblabs.

Depends on the texture size and scaling factor, 1 elmo = 8 units.

If the game punishes good players for playing with bad players, then its fault of the game, not of the etic of the players. ANYTHING goes in war. The only thing I would call out of etic in spring games would be to attack an ally (then you cannot ally with that guy, what currently is always, once we get alliances being made in game then betrayal will also become a tactic)

16 elmos = 1 footprint square.

Air drops are great.. On any map with a lot of choke points they work wonders. People tend to mass their defenses at the choke points, allowing your mass of transport to fly around them and into the heart of the enemy's base.

My favorite thing to do late-game in team games is a massive air drop.. Sending the transports in a group along the edge of the map and dropping them into the core of the enemy's base.

Don't forget to scout in order to avoid masses of anti-aircraft and enemy fighters.

Unhappyfull there are no airbone buildings in the main mods so we cant drop em onto enemies...

Beside, whats the point of building a gigant metal weight on space and the launching it against earth? Woudlnt it be easier to just make a big bomb? :)

People shoot bombs down without a second thought. But a colony? Only Heero Yuy would fire on a colony while still in complete control of his faculties (Gundam Wing fan here... so shoot me 8) ).
Wing 0 is also the only one with enough fantastical firepower to take one out, anyway.

The point is that you let OTHER PEOPLE build the colony.

And then you pump nerve gas into it and drop it on Australia. Didn't it wipe out Sydney in MSG? That would've been fun.

And why would they do that? Wouldnt they notice how utterly expensive, complicated and dangerous living in a gigant metal weight orbiting earth is? :)

They didn't notice how dangerous it is to strap a fucking antimatter bomb to their commander kbot either.
