Wow! Impressive. Loved that first video with all the parts flying around. It├óÔé¼Ôäós exactly as I imagined lego explosions would look like. Keep it up. I├óÔé¼Ôäóll send over some new models I├óÔé¼Ôäóm working on tomorrow if my hangover isn├óÔé¼Ôäót too bad.

Wow. The scout plane has changed a lot in appearance, though I can still recognise it. Or did you combine several different planes to make it?

See Page 10 of this thread: the Trident Bomber. But again, I am not sure if anyone have already modelled it.

bwansy i thought like you hmm thats not that scout plane but its just that MLCad renders not like Wings3D but when you texture it its (i think) better

OK, well...
But from your model, it doesn't seem like it can be built with real Lego.
Our mod should have something that can (at least looks like) be built with rals Lego. Otherwise we could just pile up some blocks and apply some Lego tectures to make a unit.
EDIT: By the way, these alterations made it look more like a MAG plane than an EGADS' one. I don't know if other developers want the original one or the alterated version.

ok thats true , but its really diffuclt to build a model for egads who look like lego.. with textures i think its better :P

To .MJJNL.: OK, let's ask what others think. I hope you understand that I am not against you, just that so far the others are modelling exactly (more of less) as my pics.

To other developers: So what do you guys think about this?

i think that the models should be done in a lego modelling program as it just looks like lego but with a dif program it just doesnt look the same. and MJJNL you can actually make some good EGADS stuff ask sheekel ive sent him some stuff.

I├óÔé¼Ôäóm not a developer but I have modeling experience.

I agree that model .MJJNL. made doesn├óÔé¼Ôäót look like something that can be built with lego blocks. Nor will it with textures. The proportions between thickness and length look mixed up and so do the shapes. I├óÔé¼Ôäóm not saying this because I├óÔé¼Ôäóm evil. It├óÔé¼Ôäós just my personal opinion.

I don├óÔé¼Ôäót know your favorite approach to get a model done but I prefer to split a complex model into small simple shapes. In order to get a more ├óÔé¼┼ôlegoish├óÔé¼┬Ø look I├óÔé¼Ôäód try to let every simple shape represent one lego block. After all blocks have been put together I can then clean up and remove useless details or add detail depending on what├óÔé¼Ôäós needed. I get the feeling you have your focus on what the general shape of the model looks like and not what the smaller shapes looks like.

This has been discussed multiple times - Units can NOT have 3789015790218509128e128 polygons for any sort of gaming application.

My point is, I think that the model that .MJJNL. made is more like a random-shaped MAG unit instead of an sleek, clean EGADS one. So do you guys think it would be better to retain the style of EGADS or do you agree to use his alternated model despite it is not quite the EGADS style we have discussed before?
