What's mad (or steampunkish) in a Spitfire? That's just a WW2 era fighter, very much like those of other nations at the time...

Fail! The lift profiles on the spitfire wings are truly beautiful, and fairly unique even today.

Thats because they were basically semi-circles sticking out the side of the fuselage...

spitfire is what patrotic english fanboys harp on about because in every other respect their nations military was attrociously poor in WWII. yeah, it was a good fighter but yeah, the sturmvoik and me262 or whatever that german jet one was- way better way cooler gg

Er, sorry, wasn't meaning to pick on the Britains, or whatever. I just like the lines of the P51 better.
