What?
Im just letting you know that there is errors in your units, like those unknown sound classes, i think you dont want that... it might also bug the spring, you never know what happens when you try to point to unknown things.

that was more in reference to the telling me to not use multiple corpses for the same unit..
that and these irritating little errors dont merit a new release..

It was
multiple units using same corpse, Not
multiple corpses using same unit...
And I didnt say anything about new releases... You highly misunderstood my point. I just reported errors. Dont take it that hard

Trademark, the one corpse thing is 100% intentional for gameplay reasons.

Which one? I dont understand why corpses should give more metal than they cost o_O

Eeesh, where to start, where to start.
The first thing is, even though metal corpse may be higher than the metal cost of the unit, it matters and affects gameplay in no way. Believe me, if you spend the time building and killing units/buildings to gain inconsequetial amounts of metal, you've only suceeded in wasting your own time.
Many units use the same corpse because most, if not all, units of the same build tier have similiar corpses and metal costs. For example, the majority of the GD L1 Tanks have the same corpse. This is because the majority (actually, all but 2) of the GD l1 factories production looks alike.
Believe me, using time wisely is more important in EE than it is in any other mod non-speedmetal. It is very important you devote your time to tending and expanding your base and military. Wasting time, for even a 500m payoff, will NOT be worth it, and you'll end up shooting yourself in the foot most, if not all, of the time.

Also, i'm not mentioned in the main post in this thread. :'(
Again, metal values of corpses are not important, and not once has anyone cited a game turnaround based on that. If it has, then you may not be playing EE in the correct manner.

It's not something that's particularly important, just something that should probably be fixed at some point for consistency.
PS this mod is really fun

yeah what tombom said is why I would fix this...

Yeah, that was my point at the first hand...

I've got a LAN party tonight thats going to have 15+ spring players. I havent played EE since .163, but I'll be sure to convert everyone to the newest version.
EE is Win. Great job Fang.

Oi, Fang.
In a recent match vs Lallante, a problem came up. I got his comm and all the other gibber jabber, but not his army (which included cons) and he said something that i'd regard as true, albeit not important.
He was in a position where giving the cons small amounts of E production ( 1-3E/tic) as well as extremely small amounts of additional E+M storage would be useful.
While i don't think its the most pressing issue, I see no issues by not allowing this.

I raised this point thrice before, most recently in v0.163 after a game where I lost all my energy production to a surgical strike. I had a T2 economy and still held forty percent of the map, but could not construct anything.
Then, Fang's response and the one of the community as a whole was that I should not have let my energy structures fall. The issue was with me and not the mod.
Is there a change in opinion?

In my opinion, if you manage to lose *all* of your energy production for whatever reason, then you probably deserve to lose.

The same thing happens in gundam... I think.

My current stance is neutral, as I am a better player now and haven't encountered the issue myself since.

hmm, it might not be a bad idea to give buildings some small amount of storage.
I am interested in fangs solution.

it should not be possible to lose ALL your energy production while you still have mobile units or factories, this is why units in OTA generally generated 1 energy...
