sometime along the cannibalistic foodchain (of the unprepared meat cannibalism because preparing the meat will destroy some of the vitamins) someone is going to have a protein mis fold, which is going to make the proposition quite laughable.

also some of the nutrients are used for the process of building it but are not present at required concentration in the meat. also unless you swallow babies whole, you are not getting the calcium from the bones. Also even in spring (BA), reclaiming enemy structures alive does not give you everything you need (you don't get energy this way).

Even thinking about cannibalism makes me sick but yeah, humans are omnivores so we would need to significantly supplement a diet that contained human meat... the real danger is from diseases... because this "meat" would be susceptible to the same diseases as we are we would all be at risk of being infected with blood borne diseases that typically would not be passed on (like mad-cow disease took off because they fed infected cattle to other cattle) etc.

i thought mad cow disease came up when they fed them with genetic manipulated corn or something. these corns had flawed proteins which can cause lots of damage.

I think TradeMark is postulating that the damaged proteins were the results of genetic modification of the cows... namely that the disease in Cow Zero was the result of genetic manipulation... the widespread distribution of the disease would therefore be the result of feeding cow meat infected with a disease caused by genetic manipulation to otherwise healthy cows.

Sheep have had a similar disease way before genetic modification was invented (1732).
