We could just stop calling them competitions and call them GPL resource pools instead. This'd be flight craft up to 2k polies. Though I think the models should be at least UV mapped or most of them are not going to get used...

If you give them a generic UV texture map then it will encourage users to make a new one that's even better.

I agree, the models need to be uvmapped. And MadRat, Rattle's saying that the uvs need to be laid out, not that they should be skinned.

I agree. UV mapping is a part of modelling IMO anyway.
