Edit: anyone ever played Ground Control, and know how units can't aim for shit? yeaaahhh, if you don't like that, don't come back to my/our topic, cuz we won't have ANY single units with 0 accuracy, unless a psychic guider helps infantry at level 1...

Most Units will have a decent amount of firepower, I'm not talking 500 accuracy, lol, like 150 for weak tanks, and maybe about 50 for infantry, most of the level 1 units and level 2 units are gunna be really small :p

Anybody remember a game? Fallen Haven? 'Tis my favorite and now I can't play it anymore... I don't know why either, but I get a lot of good ideas from it, and I think I-Magic got the boot...
'Tis plasma arty, I will skin it when I get back from school, which I go to in 20 mins or so...
Edit2: How does the leg look, its gunna be fast, and those little rings around the upperleg are meant for absorbing shock...
Three "toes" for balance, the back has no armor, its a scout so its gunna be fast, but I don't know what to do with it...

Nice work snipa. Now we are getting a little progress. And uhhhh... these models are going to help us build up ideas on how we want the mod to look. But I like the mech leg.

Man, this is crap....... I planned on drawing what I would like the robot faction to look like. Well, here's my crappy drawing of a plasma bot:
I really just wanted the robot faction to look sleek and high-tech. Kind of like the Aeon off of Supreme Commander.
Oh and we need help on names for the 3 factions. The three factions consist of humans, aliens (not the kind of aliens you would find on a typical game), and robots. Well, about the alien faction... we either want their structures to be primative or made up of organic materials. For example, the engineer class of aliens could be made with a big pulsing blob of flesh that pumps out units.

The main body should be further forward, it looks like it could quite easily tip over backwards with those legs...

Main body forward? It looks more like it would tip forward, or maybe I should make it lower but more streamlined!
Edit: Fear the barracks! All human structures are gunna have guns, they aren't primitive idiots! Aliens will have self-regen buildings! And, errr, robots have self-regen, slower but much more powerful?
Edit: Again, those are gunna be METAL, not some cheap-ass wood, lol

I'd prefer a mix of both. The first one is too dark to see the unit properly, but the second one is too bright, IMHO.
