so free market supplied us with crappy games and killed the innovative teams like lined to the wall protestors. For me that cries for more free market and a campaign to produce dumber customers who wont complain that easy about the buggy crap they swallow.
Lets face it, games will become as brainless, stupid and depraved as most TV always was, there is no way back, and nasty invasty shareholder lawyer& marketing departments will make sure history doesent repeat itself, for the comon good only.
Using enthusiastic peoples spare time to start private experimental ballons (survival rate is like 1/300?) doesent count, because those who buy the ones who tried (EA, the Undertaker of creative Companies) again make sure those who sell dont reappear.
I really would like to see where all those creative guys went, after there companys were finnished. Guess, somewhere on private property, behind seven mountains and seven fountains, there is a private fishing lake, were the idealistic gamemakers of the past assemble on prolonged weekends to drink away grim reality.
Simssales > Planescape/Battlezone2/SystemShock2 that is humanity mothernatures law, so somebody remind me why we dont fuck with it and change it? Oh, yeah not the great fashion at the moment, just relax, stop worrying, things will get better on there own.
This RANT was made by busy RantingANT. No human has ever assembled so many Words into a wall, carrying easy the seventhfold of his own opinion in big sentences.

That post wasn't so bad, but what is a ballon? I suppose I understand more than a third, but his grammar makes for hard work reading some days.

lol filename? or is it a trick because google doesnt find a game like this.
that engine looks cool anyway.
i think ballon=small experimental indie game realesed by big company to test how the market will react. like some of the stuff on steam.
anyway, i dont think the game market is as bad as one might think when looking at your average electronic supermarket thing.
yes, its often a shame about the wasted potential but there so many other good games, its your own fault if you play the newest nfs each year.
