Yeh BMP 3 speed in water is like 4 knots isnt it? a RHIB that infantry could fire from is that possible in WD? if so it would be quality!

Well from what I understand, it is possible. Just a tag in the unit file somewhere about it being an ir transport. So if its an air transport, then units can fire from it. Just ignore the fact that itds a boat and we will be fine.

No, the line is called: isairbase=1;. That's why planes landed on a carrier are only on stand by. That was the secret behind the Dragon Fly transports, and I've been pushing GZ to add it to the Bradley.

Tim, the cursor looks alright, however the outter edges might be a bit too much like the spring logo, I like the middle though, also I think the TA:WD cursors should be a techy green.

well, I hopes multispeed feature will be supported by Spring engine in the future.... it could be useful for some feature, such as soldier crawling slowly when being shot, swimming vehicle, submarine when they are on the waterline etc....
Problem with soldier can fire from inside... imagine some Kornet equpped AT infantry carried by BMP-3, they can still fire from inside and suddenly your BMP-3 became mega-long-range MBT eraser.....

Rigid Hulled Inflatable Boat. More or less a piece of steel for a deck, with a rubber tube for flotation. That's not as big of an advantage as it sounds. since they're all cramped inside the unit, they all fire as one, but the tank shells out range them, as well as with them jammed in one spot, kill the carrier unit, and what's inside dies as well. They're much more effective on foot in groups. Against air, or ground troops, is a different story, but it's supposed to be.

ps: what is RHIB ?
Could easily get around that by scripting the AT troops not to fire when loaded. (using setSFXoccupy, unsure if it's implemented in Spring yet)

IMO only firearms should be able to fire from an IFV.
I don't think you can fire ATGM's from a Bradley or BMP.

Heh, i'm currently bug-fixing it, it will be done in a few days I think, but i'd like to modifiy the UH-60 model and the script so it can be included in the Spring version as a troop transport.

I'm currently bug-fixing TA:WD for another release.
I had a strange bug with some units with the candgun=1; tag, it crashes spring when the weapon tries to fire.
funny enough, only infantry and L1 vehicles were affected, not L2 tanks..I don't get it...
