Rust is for lazy people

Nah, rust is awesome. Only winners use rust. Everything should be covered in rust.

If you don't use rust, I'll have to write flamebaiting posts all over the forum, talking about how much you suck, because you don't use rust.

Lazy people, on the other hand, can't even finish one infantry guy in month.

Friends don't let friends do rust.

Back on topic... LordLemmi, I liked the new models very much. The tank's barrels should probably be 6-sided, instead of 4- I've tried making 4-sided barrels look "round" with UpSpring, and it's not ideal. Looking forward to seeing them get skinned.

One month or months? More like months... yeah lazy, demotivated people who get bored when they're half way done suck!

Seriously now... if you're getting "bored" or "demotivated", that sounds like a real problem with perfectionism. Lose it.

Look at the problem rationally- your infantry guys are all so small, nobody will be able to tell, if they're less than perfect.

Quit worrying about it. Or quit even bothering to pretend you're ever going to do something- it's not like you wake up some day, you've finally achieved "godly level +1", and suddenly, you can paint everything perfectly, and quickly.

Just make yourself get the first guy done to the point where it's OK, then move on.

You can always come back to it later, and make it perfect. That's how I deal with stuff that I know isn't perfect, psychologically, and it works really well. I revisit things when everything else is done, or I'm not quite sure what else to do, and that helps me feel that I can always reach for perfection- but not until the basics are done, which forces me, psychologically, into a position where I need to complete the more immediate stuff.

One big issue: the web links to imageshack load utterly slow, hence I use the direct link instead which loads way faster.

Wouldnt really say it looks like, but it has the same feeling, which is a cool feeling, which is a good thing. :) Its wicked.

It's almost 1k tris. The basic idea is a fast and somewhat weakly armored raider unit like e.g. flash or gator.

Meh, the wheels look ugly, I guess I'll remove the center loop and add two additional sides to them...
