Good news everyone! Today i completed the first human vs. human test match in Gear Commander. My southern forces were victorious over my brothers feeble, barbaric northeners 8) but after the destruction of his main base he did manage to elude me with guerilla warfare for another 15 minutes, striking at me from hidden bases. In the end my numerically superior forces found and rooted out all his hidden outposts after which he surrendered :P. But it was a great game. Southern units proved to be a bit unbalanced at times and I'm currently nerfing some aspects, especially the HRP/48 and the Huns' LLC proved to be the bane of many northeners. He also lacked a counter for the Hun as the Klemm is still WIP.

Hey all!
Not terrible much to report really, got lots to do and my time is running out. Been fidging with the gear scripts, now they've got a cool stance while idle and the autocannon is also held up when not aiming or firing. Now if only i could figure out how to make the gear randomly look around while idle...

Hope you like :)

More goodies!

Got the Klemm, modeled by Bob, textured and ingame. It looks quite good if you ask me. Balancing it is a bit tricky but be assured that on flatter maps it will be a real long range killer since the 6 anti tank missiles it sports do massive damage, yet its close range weapons are quite lacking (only an APGL and a light autocannon, compare to the huns 60mm cannon and light laser cannon).

Very pretty, though I think you might want to tweak the reflectivity a bit. It looks like the turret is reflective but the main body isn't, and that seems odd.

Yes. That is most likely not a model thing, but more a graphic or screenshot thing, though.

Sorry but I don't.

You could use the Gimp and change it from a JPG to whatever you want.

Also I love the scale difference between the tank, infantry man and Gear.
