He said it himself, we were saying the same. What's the problem? You don't run around present shit on a platter and expect it to be praised to heavens, now do you? :P

Yhe... but apart from the one guy who said "run it through l3dt ftw" no one actully said anything remotly helpfull like "You should go here, get this program, and do that tutorial". Which would have been the right thing to do.

And he could obviolsy take a joke at first, if you look at this first reply. But you kept on insted of helping.

If it was me posting this I'd at least mention that I know it's utter crap and I'd welcome any help to improve my skills. Criticism not allowed.

The thing is, at his current skill level he's probably unable to make a proper map (prove me wrong), so the goal shouldn't be to stomp out a kick ass map, but to get better at it until you've got the skills to make a map at all which doesn't look like one of min3mat's better MS paint arts.

With this different mindset you won't care if half the world hates your map because it's pointless. It's just an exercise to get better.

But you're right, we were trolling this thread with useless comments.

I don't know about the whole guilt trip thing. He didn't object at all just... I am outa here...

so no, I do not think anyone should feel guilty, he never told you guys that it was making him uncomfortable or even given any kind of objection to his treatment. Frankly it seems like he over reacted to me.

Seriously, not even a sign that he was upset and it wasn't really that hatefull or persistant he hasn't posted enough to even begin give people an opportunity to really troll him. *sighs* what can you do.

Maybe the people who were using sarcasm should feel some guilt, but mine was just a funny inquiring of the map...

Or, he coulda taken it as a kinda criticism about how he made the thing in the middle with the trees...

I would have probablie been slightly sarcastic myself If I had posted, however I would have also bother to help. I was mearly comenting on the compleat lack of positive imput. I wasn't trying to make you guys guilty, just aware that you could probablie have handeld that better!

I know in the end I can't realy talk as I didn't take the time to post myself untill its to late. And so I'm not blaming, just saying that... well. Just saying.
