I agree. I think Kernel Panic was a strange choice, to be honest. It's not even really playable yet. I guess it was chosen because it looks radically different than any other mod, though.

Anyway, now we have to hurry up and get a real release done because of the hords of youtubers who see the video and want to play it.

Spring showcase II had nanoblobs, Final Frontier and Gundam in it as well as AA..

I might do anotehrone at some point with all the major mods, but it takes fecking ages to get all the footage, and last time i asked people for EE and other replays i recived 1..

Smoth, i use Fraps, but it eats HD space like htere is no tomorrow, i used 30GB of raw avi to get 30MB of edited video

make sure your page file isnt fragmented before you capture video ^^

This is why on the fly compression rocks...

But without it i get too keep a really nice very high quality version all to myself, you can render high quality video from low quality footage

Funny is that I was listening to a goa remix of the song you used there while watching the video....

I didn't see much of gundam on 2 outside of the whitebase. Either way, I am glad it wassn't shown. Part of the reason that I have YET to advertise gundam is that I am never happy with it. My favorite version is ALWAYs the new test version. At the time showcase II was done 1.1r(test version) was being used because it was leaked onto the public eye.

In all honesty, as nice as the current release is, the next one is even better and I want to wait untill 1.11 is ready. Although, I probably will think that the 1.2 version is even better at that point in time because I will be working on that .

Anyway, cabbage, what fraps settings do you use, I have tried using it before and my fps plummets.

I didnt mean to say gundam in that post, i was going to put it in but the only replay i had was borked (For II that is) I would happily stick it in a new super video shoqing every major mod ^^

I use fraps with 25fps capture at half size, and i dont record sound. The FPS will always plummet down to the selected fraps settings when you start recording(so sometimes a drop of hundreds of FPS). I use dynamic water, but when recording i have to take care not too have huge numbers of units on screen as it really kills the framerate, along with antialiasing which i turn off entirely.

Also, more importantly, what is the song played in Showcase II?

It's a remix of a prodigy track... voodoo people? not sure who did the remix
