The only other addin to hit_percentage that might make it even more interesting is a CEP, that is a 50/50 chance of landing within a predefined circle of aim. Both a hit_percentage and a CEP variable together on a "hit" would simulate a close shot. Depending on the target that close shot would be a hit or miss. Therefore you got the best of both worlds, starcraft be damned.
