Same old, same old..
Except a scheme brewing in Snipa's head,
Which could knock this freezing business quite dead.
He underclocked his nVidia card,
Now his comp ain't actin' like a tard.
It means being weaker for a while,
but don't be fooled by its guile.
He'll just set it back to normal when he wants to game,
Oblivion, FEAR, and much other great fame!
(No, I didn't fix the problem, but I need to underclock my card to use Wings for about 15 seconds longer. Weird, eh!?)
I STILL WANT A NEW POWER SUPPLY!

i would recommend a power supply but dont just go for what watts it has. look at the amps on the 12volt rail. i believe it needed to be around 16. also, if you have the 6600GT, you might want to get a fan on it. my 6600GT AGP would always freeze until i put some fans around it

Argh!? This is a pain in the ass, the only program it freezes on IS WINGS3D! I thought "Maybe it is Open GL" IT ISN'T!
It doesn't freeze but once in a blue moon, unless I use wings!
I got 60-80 fps on average in Spring, and when I self-d'ed a comm, it made it drop to about 45....
Why does it detest Wings3D?

My dad thinks that I can't put the old 5200 from this comp in the other one because they were "manufactured" by different companies!

A "Dell" Video card was what he called it! HAHAhAHAHAH! How pathetic...
BTW, I didn't know Hewlet Packard was run by dell
Its because the other comp gots an integrated vid card..

Cuz I didn't know I was supposed to delete my old drivers when I install new ones...
Edit: Unfortunately, I must've been lucky last night when I got on for a few minutes, its back to the same old shit now...
Edit: It has different symptoms though... It will freeze if I make a new model (Like spawn a cube or whatever) but it will be perfectly fine if I just change around some stuff..
Sometimes it just freezes when I don't make nothin' also...
I need a new PSU, probably.. Or those guys down at that place we got it upgraded at could tell us...
Edit (2 or 3, I forgot): I am going to underclock it to 50% of what it was normally at, if that doesn't work, then 25%...
I don't think I'm gunna test anymore if either of these don't work

You don't have to uninstall detonators, not even when downgrading (I do that quite lot). No idea about the catalyst.

Eww, I can't find anything that's easy and fast to work in for 13 days, so I need to wait until christmas til I can model some more. Most of the free programs I tried are just plain annoying. It's a pain in the ass trying to move around, I can never get a good view, or make exactly what I want. I spent roughly 20 minutes on each of them, and, unlike Wings, I made shit for progress (Yeah, those 20 mins were with tutorials also...)
All of 'em worked, so why doesn't wings!?
Grrr!!! I wonder wtf my computer is thinking, why won't it run my damn modeller program! ArrrghhH!!

Still 9 long, cold, boring days...
(It hates all of the other modelling programs, too!)
It can run oblivion, but yields to the magnificent might of a modelling program...
Edit: XD, I got an idea, I'm actually gunna go download the latest mods, and lose to someone.. (I don't play online but once a month, so I'll try to get on Spring for a couple of days...)
