Few settings that can help (some are for SVN spring)

Registry, or .springrc
SmoothLines=3
SmoothPoints=3
TooltipOutlineFont=1
MiniMapDrawCommands=1
Shadows=1 (obvious)
ReflectiveWater=3 (obvious)

ctrlpanel.txt:
outlinefont 1
useOptionLEDs 1
dropShadows 1

cmdcolors.txt
Use the new line stipple settings (best with line smoothing)

Also, use a PNG screenshot and convert to JPG with a quality setting that does
not ruin the picture. You can take a PNG screenshot by binding a key like this:
(in uikeys.txt) bind printscreen screenshot png
(in game) /bind printscreen screenshot png
* this assumes that you have a PRINTSCREEN key

P.S. The outline font renders more quickly in SVN then in it did in 0.73b1

Don't let this thread die...

How can we get these on the screenshots page? Does the submit files tab actualy work? (I've been told it doesn't really go anywhere.. mught be wrong) Or can a dev/admin put these up there?

I made one of these threads a while ago, selected the best screenshots, and tried to submit them, but they never got up...

I'll post them when I get home.

Please people.

Save to png. JPG looks terrible.

F9 gets rid of health bars (i'm pretty sure)

and turn up ant-aliasing. In fact turn up everything. because if you are taking stills, framerate doesnt matter.
