Then, since insulting, spamming, ruining games to others, if those "others" get ofended they just need to grow up, there should be no moderators at all?
It is impossible for anyone to be harasing anyone else, the others are just beeing intolerant?
Theoretically speaking, that is.

Harassing someone and making offensive comments are not the same thing. Similarly making personal insults and making generalized insults are not the same thing. One can learn to tolerate offensive comments or generalized statements, and interlorance has proven to be a much greater form of evil then crudeness. Therefore if one can take the opportunity to be tolerant in a situation where the offense doesn't directly hurt anyone then one should attempt this.
That being said, as much as the ideal of universal tolerance is nice, I'm not an idiot, I know that it's not really plausible from a practical standpoint. Intolerance is conditioned and conditioning is hard to break down. Spring isn't my personal social project, it's a gathering place for many, therefore we seek middle ground rather then ideals.

Well said. But I admit that I myself am an idealist. But its hard to disagree with that statement.

Theoretically, everybody is so nice that they would never refer to, say, ripping women's vaginas. Even in jest. And nobody would think it was funny. Because it's not. Ever. Funny.
I'm not asking people to be perfect- just
decent. It's not a moral Nirvana, or some paragon of Ethics- it's just a lack of hate, malice, and deliberate hurtfulness.
For all you people know, I'm a beautiful young woman in my second year at MIT, who poses as an older, nerdy guy to avoid getting sent vile email and lame requests to "cyber". You never know- you cannot know. All you know of me is
words, and whatever I post as my avatar- and they are malleable, and can say whatever I want them to.
I might just judging
all men by the behavior I see when they think I can't see them. Do you want me to see that you're shallow creatures, who speak of hideous violence, rascism and hate on a regular basis?
People wonder where all the girls are online. I know the truth. There are far more than the boys think, these days. But they stay hidden, because the boys are idiots

Lets play the game, have fun, and not need to make statements or jokes about things that many will have a problem with, how hard is that? Thats all we moderators ask...

OMG ARGH, that's like an inverse mind trip! I knew creepy old guys and people trying to make a point did that... I guess I always conceived it as possible, but never thought I knew someone who did that...
God, I hate it when that happens, a year of mental preconditioning broken down all in one swift kick.
Not meaning to imply you are a liar, frankly I don't care, to me internet characters are asexual until proved otherwise. But if true you're pretty much one of the coolest chicks ever!

We digress, but I've been mistaken for a female online many times - the community of deviantART is the chief offender.

It just doesn't surprise me that my country mates started something
wrong connected with Nazis.
The only thing that actually surprises me that it happened so late
and that You actually allowed them to manipulate You

Well, everyone should be able to keep whatever they want in their name. It is not a sign of a clever person if he keeps something like that in his name, but we are none to say what he may and may not do based on our opinions on some things.

Oh yes we can. This is not a government establishment.
