tbh i would think the core player group is much largere than 2 - 400, you easily get 200+ players peak time, there must be hundreds, perhaps even thousands who dont play every night, but probably play atleast once a week..

i would estimate we have > 1k players that are regularly active

in the evening (germany) there are usually ~200 ppl logged on, around 1 p.m. ~100

assuming that the average player is logged on for about 2-4 hours and plays every second day, there must be far more than 1k ppl playing spring

We have low hours, however, with numbers falling between sixty and eighty players.

Cadyr probably had the best estimate when he had some statistics on AA downloads a month or two back. I think it was a couple of thousand, which would seem about right given the numbers in the lobby.

Interestingly, spring lobby numbers (~50-250) aren't too far off the lobby numbers for Dawn of War (~?-300), at least as of a month ago.

I used to be a good player (imo of course), winning most games i took on.
Then EVE sucked me in. And then supcom. My micro has gone and died. I feel like a cripple playing spring now :( (onoz idle cons everywhere!)
I think ill be back to hardcore spring sometime before christmas..

Atm im on a 1v1 only diet, and id call myself a hobby player.

I was a fanatic, until I got addicted to two other games in quick succession (Armadillo Run and Vice City), and now my gpu has crapped out on me. Joy.

Here is some data from the lobby server:

- There are currently 40000+ registered accounts (most of which are doubled or used only for some short time and then abandoned)

- There are currently 1500+ "active" players (i.e. players with more than 5 hours of in-game time and logged in at least once during last 7 days)

- Approx. 100 new accounts are registered every day

- the peak of players online at the same time was ~260

Thx Betalord..
Is there a way to find the "Firsttimers-who-leave-after ten Minutes" out of the ShortTime Accounts ? It would be helpfull to see - on a Curve for example, when & why (in Relation to New-Releases-for Spring) New Players found us.

Thx again
