I think its a pretty crap idea. If people want to argue, they can message eachother. Flame wars are just stupid idiots taking an discussion personally or being needlessly offensive. I dont see any point in making a "bitchy adolescent e-penis competetition" forum.. The spring forums are for communication over topics, not for spamming porn and fighting... if people want to flame, they should just go to another forum or msn and do it. why encourage it? flaming has resulted in people leaving the community.
