Awesome, they look great.
Anybody notice that when you cycle through the 1st person bantha screenshots, you can see the clouds moving in the sky overhead. Weather effect, perhaps?

They should leave shadows on the ground but nowhere near as dark as the shadows for trails and units.

WillRiker, what's really stupid is seeing the units on the minimap and not beeing able to see them on the map...

How does the ground rebuilding work? Could it possibly be combined effectively with the new "bulldozer" units?

meh, ground deformability is somehtign that will make the game more enjoyable for those fo us who arent obsessed with realism, and tanks seem to navigate them fine to me, and if they're a little slow so what? Just level the area and use amphibious or restore with const. Aircraft and hevy escorts after taking the area with k-bots. Or you could realise that fi you cant send tanks voer easily then neither can your enemy. There are always ups and downs so dont focus on the downside.

That attack was foiled by combined fire of three intimidators and two buzzsaws...
