wind is high on this and one of the other tourney maps, its fine to have one or two maps like that however please in the future also make maps where solars are useful

About the map, pretty nice, however i think the snow could be a bit more white. Also on the north and east border there is a black line which looks weird.

Generally it is spring that causes that. Not really sure why, however, I've caught l3dt doing it at times because of the light source.

I liked the original metal layout - your revised suggestion becomes a "rush the middle" game. Naval bombardment provides plenty enough reason for me to want to expand forwards.
whoop - never mind. Was critizing Nemo's revamped suggestion, not the actual revamping. Sexy, good map.
