Crap Wearing a Nice Hat... the advantage is that when I buy a good Mobo, Proc, Ram, VidCard and HD, I'll have a nice case to put it in...

Here's mine:
Code: Select all
/-----------\
||[=======]||
||[=======]||
||---------||
||=(=.)====||
|| . ||
|| `(o) ||
|| ||
|| (D) ||
|| ||
|.\_______/.|
\[][](::).../
Except for the D actually says "DELL" and around the power button it says "DIMENSION 4600" and the two little squares on the bottom left say "Designated Microsoft Windows XP" and "Intel Inside pentium 4"
edit: Improved computer rendition.

Depends on the form factor of the case, however I think you're fairly safe assuming ATX will be around for at least a few more years.

I take personal pride in having a computer that hasn't changed its caseing sence like...the nintys. Its an old old old case, and I've just been slowly upgrading it in bits and pices. Still has some vaccume tubes sticking out of the back...

BBS codes.
Code: Select all
if for an image.
You can also do URL's for hotlinks text you want the hotlink to say
you can make an image the hotlink for a URL
it works for stylizing text too this text would be bold
this text would be italicized
this text would be underlined
Anything put in a code box is ignored by the forum, that's why I used this codebox to show you the syntax. code boxes are done using the word "code" in BBS squarebraket syntax, but if I do an example of that in this code box it will break the code box, just so you know what I mean.

aside from looking at it, is there any way to check the speed of ram?

dxdiag.exe in the prompt runs direct x's diagnostic tool which measures RAM IIRC, and its somewhere in the control panel too i think
