Caydr, the tag on your Shield1 weapon is misspelled - it doesn't affect the performance of the unit because it defaults to Shieldrepulser=0; which is what you wanted anyways. However, it is shieldrepulser, not shieldrepulsor.

also Caydr the Unit guide link in first post is linked to the changelog not unit guide.

The LeeJen was not a joke unit for me - it was a damn effective suicide scout that could get LoS on base defenses for a proper arty/MERL strike!

I haven't played yet, but, has anyone else encountered this? I don't want to build shields just to have prety colors strewn everywhere and nothing happen.

Spy Kbots.[/quote]

I was specing a game today and it looked like infiltators animations are not working. But that might have just been for me specing.

That's because you were speccing another player, rather than the spy kbot's owner.

BTW, spy kbots are too fragile for what I had in mind by "Forced scouting" with Leejens.

You can't flood an area with them, but they're cloakable and stealthy and have a long sight range. One or two in the right places will get you the LoS to kick things off.

Spy planes also work.

Yes, I agree, the little scout planes and spy kbots are good for just about everything.

Though, to forcefully scout a well-defended enemy base... LeeJens are great, because they have so much HP.

It needs to be charged to stop shots. You can tell if it's charged, and how charged it is, by the colour. Bright white indicates it is charged, and a dull red-orange indicates it is not charged. Sheilds slowly charge themselves over time.

What?

Where is this "shield indicator"?

I honestly haven't seen shit, because in my game of 2.0, incoming enemy fire never caused any shield interaction I noticed.

Klavo: If you have a deflector up and enough energy to power it (they take a ton to charge), after a minute or two a transparent white sphere will appear around your deflector. That's the shield radius, it just takes a while to charge up.

They are still moderately effective into middle game, as you know.
