Steve, you have to look at the previous best of spring mods threads. People get really hatefull, I do not even place my mod in the top 3 but it feels belittling. I know others feel the same. I have been in the ta community for over a year now. Maturity, self control and kindness do not happen.

Did you know gundam annihilation was in PC gamer? When it was, the mod was publicly shuned because some people thought that the mod was not as deserving. Rude and hurtfull things were said. Not at all complementary. ZWZSG is one of the few people in the ota community that I respect and he will tell you from his experience that it will become a blood bath.

I would like to say that people will respect the likes of my mod in the way that I respect the old mods like SWTA and indpendance wars. However, I know the TA community well enough that they will give massive hatred should my mod out rank an ota mod. They will do it simply because my mod is new and not a part of the "old school" crew.

This thread reminds me of http://forums.thegaminguniverse.com/, where pretty much all they do is hand out awards to everyone for everything. Personally, I'd rather that time was spent in actually producing more content for the game.
