its not possible yet, but the changes to the map loading code are minimal. I've already done it for minimap. i'll make some time to do it for the rest of the maps in the smf

Nice! lua minimap is a huge plus already.

Cool. I imagine new possibilities to adjust map design via lua options :-)

Sure enough, map server failed to get mirrors for 1.1/1.2 for whatever reason so we're on 1.3 now, no changes.

Also these beautiful trees looks soo darn awful from this angle :roll:

Another thing that doesn't work for some odd reason is a map extension widget with realistic extension option enabled. It gives weird texture bug where it takes (I think at least) the grass map for some odd reason.
