why is that? Also long time no see! HI!
Well it depends.
Newer graphics may be rebadge or newer architecture depending on where they are on the roadmap.
Newer GPU may come with support for newer version of OpenGL.
Unlike CPU, GPU can be a perceptible source of bottleneck, so getting improved version would be preferable for most.
And if person uses Windows Vista or above, then all windows that are open gets rendered on real time rather then on demand, so more resource use. It's nice sometimes, but also wasteful in some cases.

Added a 512Go Mx100 crutial.
BumbleBee works like a charm with Mint 17. You can really see the temperature monitor to drop once you did. Since mint 17, bumblebee is super easy apparently :D
Had to look a bit into UEFI installation since that was new but the rest is pretty good.
I cannot belive those laptop are not more famous, they are pretty great. After I bough the SSD, it is like the best MBP for 50% of the price (Ok, the retina disaplay is missing, but the screen still is awsome) Most of Ativ version share the same chassis/keyboard.
Just need to config 3rd mouse trackpad and some F[x] keybind and I am ready !

I considered Gigabyte for a bit then I had a look at temperature/noise emission and I run away.
Other contestant were ASUS but they ended having a less good scree, and having less good inputs and emission.
