Sorry :-/

It's a bit tough to make it convenient for everyone. Entries are accepted right up to the point to where the first game happens, so potentially there could be quite a few. As a result, we'll need the time in order for all the games to be played and so forth.

It could potentially be pretty tough to do that on a workday.

Sunday might be a valid option. Less holiday events happen on those.

I'll join but might be busy closer to the date. Probably due to timezones.

Can you please send an email to tournament@evolutionrts.info with your lobby name?

Flop is the one handling the rankings and signups, and that goes to him as well.

What engine version will be used?

94.0 was just released and it looks promising.

Honestly, I don't know. Hopefully 94.1.

This engine release has thrown a major wrench into the works :-/

Edit: 94.1 will be used.

You can now sign up on the Challonge page.

Guys... Flop bailed on me :-( I don't even have a list of people that have signed up. I'm Sorry

I'm really frustrated about it, and if not enough people sign up (I'm shooting for 8) we may need to postpone it for a couple of weeks. I'm sorry :-(

At Flop bailing and at how little signups there are considering the huge incentive :(

Well, had I known he was gonna stand me up, I would ahve handled it differently. As a result though, likely it will be postponed for a few weeks (next few saturdays are busy for me) and I will take suggestions from the community as to how to best handle the tourney and set it up.

On the bright side, Godde and I have really been whipping Evo into shape over the past month in terms of gameplay and balance, so that's good :-)

Yeah it'll still happen, and you'll still have to listen to me failcasting games. Maybe money isn't a good prize motivator. I thought that that would make people excited and increase the fun factor not to mention the overall urge to participate.

Does money prizes make it too competitive?

Maybe grand prize should be one of these guys: http://www.giantmicrobes.com/us/products/herpes.html

imo two problems:
-game balance was being changed too much
-no list of maps
