It is a known fact that native english speaker don't understand very well french and the same in the other direction. It can be traced back to the pitchness of the 2 languages. We have like this:

Low pitch - - - - - - - High pitch
e e e e e f f f f f f f f f f f f f f f
(e-English / f-French)

The average pitchness of both languages does not cross each other and makes for people acostumed to one pitch have dificulties understanding a pitchness they're entirely not acostumed to hear.
How do i know this? Funnily enough, i was watching Euronews, the TV channel, and by some reason they were talking about this and it also mentioned the swedes that, because of using a pitchness in they're language that encompasses both the english and the french, they tended to understand well both of them.

DarKEnergY, maybe you can start a fan site in french for Spring like so many fan sites that were created for the old TA. That way, it wouldn't need to mess around with this site and save Fnordia (the site admin) the extra trouble.

hence why knowing more then one language makes you better at learning additional languages, your "range" is much wider and more refined...
