Hey.
This is what I have done.
Using the steps from this tutorial for gimp to set the alpha channel:

My RGBA are all black when it is in gimp:

After which the model, appear all black in springmapedit and doesn't appear in game.

255-1 alpha are team color you just don't notice 99%alpha because team color is an overlay. Full white in your alpha channel means (255) and absolute black is (0). Any image that is saved and looks solid is team colored in a way which will be apparent.

Hey.
I followed what SinbadEV show to get the alpha channel black.
But my feature in game is still yellow and untexture.
Do i need to do the upspring process again?

You are not saving with the alpha layer. There is no alpha on the ones I looked at. easy test is if your unit shows teamcolor in upspring it probably will in spring as well.
also why tga? png is much easier to work with.

I finally got it working!
Just in case other would like to know:
For the alpha channel, require to decompose and recompose.
And include the alpha channel when save.
png work like magic =)

So the mc2 stuff should be updated / fixed for spring.
But IIRC the license did not allow modification, or?
If it allows modification I would include the fixed features with SME.
Could anyone check the licensing stuff, and supply me with a fixed version? :)

the license covers derivative works there for you can make derivatives based on the content.

So no, they are not fixed.
But you did fix the textures/prefabs, so you just need to upload them somewhere I can get them^^

Oh ya, I got a question on the SpringMapEdit.
When am using it in my office computer, it hangs whenever I click 'Select Features'.
However it is working perfectly on my personal laptop.
Any idea the reasons?
