Maybe you wife should open a bakery or at least participate in bake sales if there are any organizations over there that do that kind of thing. She seems very talented.SinbadEV wrote:Jazcash wrote:This is the best thing that you've posted in years.I know right... about 6 months ago she was trying to work out a hobby and hit on the whole cup-cake/cake thing from watching the food network.Panda wrote:Pretty. What flavor cake is it?
The inside is this crazy thing she does where she takes a store-bought cake mix and makes it with diet soda... so it's a pink cream soda cake.
The frosting of the cupcakes (and filling and glue in the big cake) is a butter-cream... then, she found a recipe for making fondant out of marshmallow so that's what the cake is covered with and decorations are made of (store bought Tinkerbell topper)... the petals are marshmellows cut diagonally and dipped in colored granular sugar.
To make the shaped she pressed fondant into chocolate molds or cut them out with cookie cutters.
This is like the 10th cake she's decorated in her life and the first time to use fondant in the mix... she's already been decorating for friends in exchange for tools (like people have bought her cake pans and ingredients and a putty knife set for spreading icing and frosting bag and heads and such).Gota wrote:Shouldn't she have opened a cake shop by now? I mean look at that...wtf
edit: My daughter turned 3 today!

I've had that but I'm unsure if it was purchased in a local specialty shop or brought back from the Ukraine, Russia or Europe by one of my sisters.MidKnight wrote:Oh my god oh my god I love that stuff mail me some please mail me someSirArtturi wrote:We finns prefer Ammonium Chloride a.k.a salmiakki
