its also fun to lose a 1v1 provided your opponent isn't being a douche about beating you,and you can talk about how to improve etc and what went well.

kinda lucky for me that i see it that way i suppose since i tend to lose alot

One thing annoying the hell out of me in League of Legends is people saying "gg" every single game, like it has no meaning.

As someone who knows bad ping(i use chinese proxy just to be able to log into the server) and gets 700-1k spikes all the time unless its late in the evening i cant denounce ping excuses :)

Actually any of those excuses can be a proper real reason to lose a game and not just an excuse. But either way it's not really advised to try to discredit your loss no matter the reason, just makes you look like a crybaby.
Like if you had won the game, you wouldn't go and gloat how you won even when lagging or massively drunk or whatever. Or maybe if drunk enough you would.

to me, gg = game over

I play 1v1 against BADSD noobs who say I don't tech well enough or that I let down the team when I get 3v1'd and the guy behind me is STILL making fusions with no signs of helping.

So I agree with Gota in that 1v1 is satisfying because you make the opponent suffer.

EDIT: Also, the funniest excuse from a lost 1v1 I got was, "You still suck." + Ragequit

I get quite unhappy at people saying "gg" for the sake of "being polite", as it then carries no meaning and rather then highlighting good games only shows that the players concerned disliked the game a lot if they don't say it or go "bg".

If you mean he just has like one solar or an eye left and not self-ding then yeah i agree with you.

But oherwise i generally prefer to play a game untill the "end".
Mainly because i get to maximize my micro in my last dying minutes, and realy have alot fun doing so, such as comdancing against numerous storms/rockos etc.
Although comdancing isn't as viable as it used to be.
(Did they make the com move slower? and is it just me or is the "new" dgun fubared in comparison to the old one?)

yeah 1v1's are the best, But they are intense, and as most ppl are lazy, we have a problem.

Not a problem for me if i win cause they were lazy just as long as they dont say it afterwards and spoil my fun.

I'm often very tired or then I just can't be bothered to put any effort in my gameplay when I lose.

My best two 1v1 stories...

In one, I won and the other guy started raging that I'd cheated... THAT makes you feel good about yourself. :D

In the other, the game was "over" I had trounced my opponent and he had one solar in the corner or whatever and I didn't feel like dragging things out so I said "GG" and then I CTRL+A CTRL+D'ed to finish things off... technically this meant that I lost and the other guy was all telling everyone that he'd beaten me... I tell you THAT pissed me off incredibly.

I did that few times to some pr0's, they thought they had won, even when i still had units left.. what an idiots. I hate it when people quit before actually finishing the game. Imagine, i could have combombed their commander, and made it a tie... but they decided to quit before that would happen.

HAHAHA Trademark thats not a tie thats a lose.
