That would have a very negative impact on the community imo.

"Oh you want your own dsd host? Nope already at max sorry, all my best friends have one."

Although I think we could be fair if we did so, it would also be rather inconvenient to deal with every application. We couldn't possibly make informed decisions without playing with people and obtaining third party replays of matches they've run or played in.

It is a pretty dumb idea, though I have a little nostalgia for the good old days when only a handful of people ran autohosts.

Yeah, back then the people who ran AHs had also coded them. Now there's a nice prerequisite! :P

It might be hard for you to comprehend but I encompassed both possibilities with my answer. Try to think about what people write a bit more before assuming they can't read.

This illiterate excuse for a sentence?

Ok fine. I never said anything about max autohosts (nor about maximum amount of people allowed to host them). I was talking about the people running them.

It does not help your argument to be demeaning and hostile towards your opponent. If anything it makes you look immature.

My point was the favoritism people would most likely exhibit in such a system. You would have to be good friends / well known with the ones giving rights to run an autohost.

My thinking was from an entirely different direction, but you're quite right, it's not really feasible in any case, and your sentence was so badly constructed that I couldn't tell wtf you were saying.
