Now lets see, why does one post his picture all the time on the internet... hmm... either for trolling, or... hmm, i cant think of anything else, anyone else has better ideas? Maybe its because of some sort of trauma in childhood, thats all i can think of. You seem like a smart guy, but still, you do utter stupid stuff like this, so i have my bets on the trauma.

I post my pictures on social sites. I have entries on moddb/indiedb, linkedin and face/space.

Eventually some springtard gets all excited and posts some kind of shop of my pictures. So I figure I will just post it here and then pretty much the only fun left is shoping it. Nips it in the bud.

Maybe you should make the pictures so obviously funny at the first place so they have nothing left to shop anymore?

Although, the best solution is to not post any pics on public internet pages at the first place... You dont need to show your face in order to use the internet, or do you... one small 50x50 image is enough.

It can also be Exhibitionism or just ego.
X makes new picture and thinks its a flatteirng picture, so he posts it to get reassurance of his good/acceptable looks from others.
