On the dreams issue: There are lucid dreams out there (see video).

I often get lucid dreams and am sure that plenty of other people probably get those too since there appears to be plenty of people who know about them. I don't usually find dreams to be upsetting either. They just sort of drift along and I'm not unhappy about them. Sometimes one can feel a little lost in in dreams, but if you lightly stare at something, you'll probably solve what you're looking for or no longer feel lost. As a result, I often find dreams to be very entertaining to have and read about. I always thought it was sad when people say that they don't have dreams.
I haven't seen that movie, "Inception", yet and think that it looks kind of creepy, but I doubt that it's any worse than some of those Asian horror films like "Old Boy" or "Sympathy for Lady Vengeance". Smoth says he likes Leo and I think that it could be a good movie, so I'll have to go see it some time.
Do I think that video games can influence dreams, sure, but the extent to which they are able to do so probably varies from person to person.
