Just for the record I haven't really played much halo. 30min at friends' place some 5 years ago doesn't count as being a fanboy. So imo RvsB has other merits than "halo fanboy appeal". ~~

I played halo after watching red vs blue for 2 years, and thought it was ok. in other news, flawed uninformed arguments are flawed and uninformed

I dunno, something about the way you said it made it seem like you did not realize that the show started on a budget of nothing, and was extremely limited in use of the game engine.

Of course, thats what great about red vs blue, it does almost everything through dialouge, which is often crude, but also often rather witty and quite quotable.

Meh, season 8 turned out to be not that great, although some of the fight scenes were fantastic.

reconstruction was great, then each of the new series had better visuals and shittier scripts... a quick look at the amount of shinies in that one suggests the trend continues

Funny you mentioned this, I watched the whole of season 8 for the sort of half second time yesterday xD

I think the main problem was that they relied too much on increasingly repetitive gags. I mean, you can only have so much of Griff-Simmons. That and season 8 didn't really have much of a plot, mostly just excuses for bringing old characters back.

Season 9 looks like a prequel to Blood Gulch so hopefully we will see some fresh characters/ideas with this one.

grif-simmons is the worst thing about rvb.

That trailer needs more bloom and lens flares, it looks like a SNES game.
