Some ideas:
Animal names: the most used in present day.
peewee is animal name
i cant think of any name thats wrong in BA, like i never thought they would be that bad we would need to rename them... most of them sound cool. although most of the time i dont even look at the damn names...

btw why does BA have separate mine units for ARM and CORE? not really needed lol

Different models, when those exist might as well have them different. But nanos though, is the exact same thing for both. Just makes it more annoying if you have nanos/cons of both sides.

If you are part of the userbase who uses the fps cam all the time then yes there is a difference. Also, whats the point of the different factions if the units are the same? My response to this is rather than make units the same, differentiate them to justify having separate units.

nobody ever zooms that close to the mines you would see their difference. and so what if you noticed? you wouldnt even remember which of them is ARM and which of them is CORE mine. not to mention they are mostly invisible.

I notice and appreciate the different models for mines. Granted it's not needed to have different units for each faction. I'm looking at you, Age of Empires 1 and 2. I think it is nice to have different mines per faction though.

Okay, read my post again, keeping in mind that models are not the only thing that can make 2 units differ. Example: arm mine is low damage high range, core is opposite, or arm is emp, core is damage.

so what, have you thought that the plasma bullets looks the same too but makes different damage... and nobody cares
why mines should even look different? doesnt make sense... for all logic they should look the same, since they have the same function. Same as making different lead bullet models because they make different damage... does that make sense eh

Trademark, this is the thinking that plagues BA. There is too much similarity between the factions. It doesnt really effect playstyle so much when you chose arm or core. Also, once again I am saying that appearance and characteristics should both differ together. However i guess its a mute point, BA isnt about change but "balance", and this is rather offtopic anyway.

Yeah I really don't think it's necessary and besides everyone is used to the names we have now.
And all the names so far pretty much suck, no offense to everyone who's giving ideas.
