Now why cant we have an official stats page with all this that doesnt rely upon the assumption of the only being 2 pieces of software interacting with the server

as you notice SL_Bot stats only refer to SL itself with stats reporting enabled, rest 17% includes lobby bots, telnet, SL users with stats reporting turned off, tasclient, etc
the only assumption it has, is that nobody has been such as asshole to fake report stats

Its amazing tasclient still has above 15% considering only SL is default checked in installer for over a year.

actually it has more players, the above stats include the casual players logging in once in a while, when i do my daily stats (while im logged in) tasclient is used by 27% of all users (including bots), so if you remove bots and linux users tasclient is used by maybe 40% of non casual windows spring players), but the stats are done in 8-12 hours with only 700-800 users

I have both and I think tasclient is better, for so many reasons. Though I think the 'replays' tab in springlobby is better. and I prefer the font, but that can be changed in options I think

Moreover, TASClient has been voluntary smashed down in installer description. It has also been kept out of date in installer for some reason I wouldn't comment.

Though I understand SL is checked by default cause of its multi platform ability.

I said no lies, those points sum up my experience with TASClient, which I stopped trying to use about three months ago. I'm entirely willing to revise them at another point, but judging from your screenshot, the last point remains true, the second to last is probably local, and the other two are neither supported nor refuted. There is no way to know how long you had that instance open.

wtf does that mean ?

1 - Memory hog => wrong see screen shot and learn to check options
2 - process hog => same as above
3 - failure to start multiple releases on 32 bit Windows => see attachment (but im not even sure to understand what that mean, multiple release ... multiple version ? multiple instance ?)
4 - 199X UI => it mostly use the os skin but let's say it's true
