Anyone is 'authorised' to recommend using modelbase as a model filehost.

World builder is a very cool thing argh made that does exactly what it says it does. Allows u to put features and animals (birds) and cars (moving) in a map.

Yea I realized that, but still I'm not getting any concrete information about it. Argh just tells how worldbuilder this and worldbuilder that, but where is it? Is it not ready yet? Does it exist in real world or just in Argh's head? :>

Oh, and what comes to those Glest trees. They look really cool. I actually like that the trees have that Warcraft feel you know... Would be really nice to use them in our maps...

Why don't you just, IDK, download World Builder and try it out? It's free, it's Open Source, and a download link's in my projects sub-forum. It's a lot easier than me giving you a wall of text about all of its features, frankly.
It's not as cool as the version I'm working on now, but it will give you an idea on what it is and how it works.
In the meantime, view the Glest thread- I made a vignette in Spring in about 5 minutes with World Builder, complete with buildings that can explode, trees that can be knocked over, etc.

Great! Well, I didn't knew if your program existed or where to dl it. Maybe you could upload it to springfiles?
Will use it soon!

I'm allowing myself to contribute Beherith's trees to this competition for himself.
http://beherith.eat-peet.net/stuff/ctrees.7z (23 trees)
Thanks Beherith!

Perhaps, Argh, you should make a link to World Builder in the wiki where it deals with feature placement on maps.
(mainly because I'm terrible at finding stuff) I'm glad I've finally found it.

Deadline is coming closer and I still see no snowy trees. Looks like behe is going to win...
Maybe I need to participate myself and try out what kind of stuff I can pull out...

Trees as 'units' that lost branches and emitted clouds of leaves when damaged would be cool if anyone can be bothered to go to that much effor
